I'm Sara, your host here at Basic Tourist — a wannabe avid traveler hailing from Canada, currently calling Vancouver home.

I know the internet is a big, noisy place filled with flashy travel influencers dangling infinity pools and luxury resorts in front of us like shiny keys in front of a toddler. That’s not what you’ll find here. I mean isn’t importable, however we are pretty basic.
